Harume

Harume, Concubine to Daidoji Asato. Although of peasant stock, Harume's stunning looks and sensual, seductive manner made her the archetypal concubine.

Within months of arriving at Toshi Ranbo, Harume won Asato’s favours to become his favourite.

Controversy remained close to this woman though. A rivalry quickly sparked up between Harume and Ichiteru, Asato's previous favourite, which while not apparently violent was bitter none the less. Also, one of Asato's household guard, Daidoji Kushida was suspended from duty pending an investigation based on Harume's accusations that he had been harassing her. In addition to this, Harume escaped from her chaperones on a number of occasions sparking rumours that she was seeing someone other than the Governor.
