The Emperor

Hantei XXXVIII, Son of Heaven and supreme ruler of Rokugan. A direct descendent of the first Hantei, the strongest of the Kami who ruled The Emerald Empire when he and his siblings fell from the Celestial Heavens founded Rokugan.

He is now an elderly man but he plays a very active role in the day-to-day running of the Empire and does not suffer fools gladly.

The Emperor has one heir, Hantei Sotorii?, who is still young and somewhat undisciplined but being trained by the Kakita and the Otomo as his father was.
