Togashi Rogi

Sent to Toshi Ranbo by the daimyo of the Dragon Clan himself to observe as events unfolded there, Togashi Rogi is every bit the enigmatic ise zumi, the tattooed monks of the northern mountains that many have heard rumour of but very few have actually met.

His tattoos seem to have mystical powers, glowing when he uses them. Perhaps the most terrifying is the Tiger tattoo on his chest that seems to turn him into a snarling creature similar to that inked on his torso.

Despite his strange mystical powers, Rogi is a man of peace and friendship. He can normally be found using his free time to help the less fortunate and dissuade others from the use of force.

He is a simple old man who is use to the simple things in life. The poor of the empire are important to him and he strives to provide a better life for all.

He has some quirks (interests in things he shouldn't) that allow him to lend an expert opinion in difficult and less than lawful circumstances. However, despite these quirks, Rogi pursues an ongoing battle against evil. In a recent battle against Oni no Satomi he was very nearly killed but he would do the same thing again given the chance. What is more, this is something he would do for any person in the empire be it The Emperor Hantei himself or the lowliest eta?.

In an interesting turn of fortunes he was reunited with young Otaku Isauo whom he rescued from a burning building when she was but a child.
